Ffxiv quest icon plus sign3/10/2024 Your enmity in relation to that of party members is represented by numbers next to your names. Please note the party list will not display when playing alone.Įnmity is a measure of how likely an enemy is to attack a player. This list can also be used to immediately target players in your party. When engaging an enemy, this list will also show the enmity of all party members, as well as any enhancements or enfeeblements affecting them. In Combatĭisplays all players and NPCs with whom you form a party. Selecting the gil icon will open the Currency menu, which displays other currencies such as tomestones and Grand Company seals. Gilĭisplays the amount of gil currently in your possession. Main MenuĬontains the following categories: Character, Duty, Logs, Travel, Party, Social, and System. Clicking on the sets opens their respective menus. The set of dots on the left represents your character's gear slots. Gear and Inventory GridĪt a glance you can confirm how many items are in your inventory, represented by the dots on the right. Selecting the quest title opens the journal, while selecting the objective displays its location on your map. Duty Listĭisplays active quest titles and objectives. This will make it easier to return to these areas later. That said, you should always remember to attune to local aetherytes. In later levels, however, you must explore maps to reveal them completely. The map of low level areas will appear in their entirety upon visiting them for the first time. You can also click the minimap to open a larger map of the area. Minimapĭisplays the current location of your character, as well as the location of nearby landmarks such as shops and quest destinations. Upon entering a sanctuary, such as an inn room or aetheryte camp, a crescent moon icon will appear next to your experience bar, indicating you are accruing rested bonus experience. Parameter Barĭisplays your current HP, MP/CP/GP, and experience bar. You can change the layout of the hotbars, and even their key settings as you see fit. Player actions, emotes, items, macros, and target markers can be set to these slots so that they can be accessed by selecting their respective icons. The plus icon below the log window will add a new tab, while the cog icon will open the Log Window Settings menu. Quest dialogue, system messages, conversations with other players, and more are displayed here. Clicking on the quest name will open the map and display where you can go to continue your journey through the story. It really depends on how you feel really.Displays the name of the next available main scenario quest. Some people might chain rouse and spur together, but personally I like to use them myself so I have more control. Those are the only ones I use, but people have had varying degrees of success with others. It will first attempt to hit your target, but in the case that you're targeting a monster, it'll then hit your targets target (which should be the tank) This will cast Virus firstly on what you're targeting, but if you happen to be targeting the tank, it'll put virus on whoever the tank is targeting (tt = target's target) What this will do is cast shadowflare on your target, but if you're not targetting something it'll go back to the traditional ground target mode. Obviously you can try it out, but I don't like it myself. It's messing with your pets priority system and force stopping it.Most of the time forcing an embrace on top of a physick is going to overheal.The fairy is picking targets based on HP priority, so it's being efficient.Someone's replied with a macro showing them forcing the fairy to use embrace when you use physick, but I don't like it myself for a few reasons: This can be troublesome sometimes, but even though it feels like a delay due to lag, the pet is just doing whatever it was doing before. Thing you have to remember about pets in general in XIV, is that they'll always complete the task they're doing before they react to your command.
